Update on return to play guidance for Scotland and Wales

Guidance for BAFA members - 11 July

New guidance in both Scotland and Wales in the past 48 hours has opened up further opportunities for return to play in both respective countries.

Further to my update yesterday (10 July) outlining the next steps for our BAFA return to play action plan, we will be working with Sport Scotland and Sport Wales over the coming days to understand how new guidance will impact the safe return of American football in those countries.

As and when we are able to apply the updated guidance to American football we will let the community know, but until then players and participants should continue to comply with the previous guidance applicable to Scotland and Wales.

We will also work to try and align as much as possible our action plan across England, Scotland and Wales, taking into account the different public health guidelines for each home nation.

Please keep an eye on the BAFA website and our social media channels for further updates.
