The British American Football Association (BAFA) is offering its members
free workshops on key topics such as Introduction to Legal Structures and Developing
a Marketing Strategy in partnership with Club Matters.
Club Matters is Sport England’s one stop shop for sports clubs, groups
and organisations involved in the delivery of physical activity and sport.
Warren Smart, BAFA National Game Development Manager, has been confirmed
as a tutor for these workshops after undertaking appropriate training.
Initially, the following workshops will be available to BAFA members:
- Developing a
- Leadership Teams
- Introduction to
The free workshops can be arranged for a single club, or for a smaller
number of representatives from a variety of clubs.

Warren Smart, BAFA National Game Development Manager, said:
“We’re excited to bring these free workshops to clubs all over the
country. We want to share valuable knowledge, best practice and generate ideas
to help clubs grow on and off the field.
“These workshops provide an excellent opportunity for clubs to invest in
their own success and can be arranged for an individual club with several
members or a number of clubs joining to share knowledge and help plan ahead.
Additionally, I will announce dates for workshops which anyone can enrol onto.
“Given current conditions, what’s particularly appealing about these
workshops is that they are online and can be delivered without travel. However,
when the possibility presents itself, I also want to visit clubs and present
these sessions, and other work I am undertaking, to help us further develop our
