Coach Simms said of his appointment: "I'm grateful to have the opportunity to do my best and hopefully make a difference in individuals' self-confidence and belief in themselves."

Noting that Simms has experience and expertise of the highest calibre, GB Men's Adult Lions Head Coach Mike Callan said: "We are incredibly excited to have Coach Simms join us. His talent, experience, and passion are going to push the team and players around him to be the best they can be. This is a slam dunk of a hire for us!"
