BAFA holds successful strategy day

27 April 2017

Meeting at Allianz Park looking at the future of British American football was facilitated by sports consultancy SportStructures

BAFA is pleased to confirm that its strategy meeting, hosted at Allianz Park on Saturday 22nd April, will achieve its stated aim of helping to formulate the vision for British American football in 2017 and beyond.

The day was superbly facilitated by the sports consultancy company SportStructures, with attendees from youth, junior, adult, university, women's football, flag football, and a number of BAFA Directors, ensuring that all strands of the sport were represented.

The meeting provided a great opportunity for open and honest discussion of the current state of the game, with productive conversations and ideas for BAFA's collective future direction. The enthusiasm and passion for the game to grow further was great to see and some excellent ideas for future action were generated.

SportStructures will report back the BAFA board on 13th May, following which there will be an opportunity for the board to feed the conclusions back to delegates and interested parties. This will result in the publication of an action plan which will be widely shared following the BAFA board meeting in August.
